Photo Voltaic Everywhere has gone NANO tech… or as they call it OPV – Organic Photo Voltaic
The latest NANO technology application has been used to develop the flexible and semitransparent foils that produce electricity out of daylight (best out of direct solar light), but a wide spectrum photo voltaic surface not only widen the solar rays collection time to almost all daylight hours, but can be mounted everywhere with minimal intervention to the surface.
We will discuss the distributed power generation and we will look into the possible future applications…
Speaker’s Biography
Mr. Miro KoleticEnergy Conservation and Management has been a part of Miro Koletic’s professional career since 1981 when he joined Building Automation Systems Division of Johnson Controls in Phoenix AZ. Following his controls engineering tenure in Carrier, after holding all types of the controls engineering and management positions in HVAC manufacturing companies, 10 years later, Mr. Koletic started his own Energy Conservation Network – EnCoNet .
Answering power blackouts of California 2000 energy crisis and later, electrical power production came in focus of EnCoNet along with load responsible demand side management and sensible energy consumption.
Distributed electrical power generation is gaining ground despite resistance of the power companies and low natural gas prices. The renewable bio gas and solar are here to stay, and Mr. Koletic has been pursuing the cutting edge of technologies recently developed to use then in his applications.
